Congresswoman Jen Kiggans, representing Virginia's 2nd district since 2023, shared her perspectives on several issues through social media posts dated March 26, 2025. Her tweets addressed topics ranging from naval investments to veteran healthcare.

On the morning of March 26, Kiggans spoke at the Aircraft Carrier Industrial Base Coalition. She emphasized the importance of investing in the Navy fleet for maintaining a robust military industrial base and supporting jobs in shipbuilding hubs such as Virginia's 2nd district. In her words: "Investing in our Navy fleet is critical to maintaining a strong military industrial base and to supporting jobs in shipbuilding hubs like #VA02."

Later that day, she shared a lighter moment with fellow representative Trent Kelly, who presented her with a hat. Kiggans humorously commented on its compatibility with her existing Navy attire: ".@RepTrentKelly dropped off a pretty awesome hat today! Hope it doesn’t clash with all my Navy gear… "

In another post made later on March 26, Congresswoman Kiggans expressed disappointment over what she described as fearmongering by political colleagues concerning a new VA clinic in Chesapeake. She criticized partisan politics within veteran healthcare discussions and clarified that the clinic would open in phases according to standard practice: "I’m disappointed by the fearmongering from my colleagues on the other side of the aisle over the new VA clinic in Chesapeake."
