Kiggans shared her sentiments by stating: "It was an honor to attend the decommissioning ceremony for Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron TWELVE (HM-12) at @NavalNorfolk yesterday! Established on April 1, 1971, HM-12 was the first squadron of its kind..."

Later that day, she highlighted her commitment to healthcare issues through a meeting with Alzheimer's Disease advocates. She emphasized the need for increased research and policy solutions by sharing: "This week, I met with @ALZSEVA to discuss the need for more research, support, and policy solutions for those impacted by Alzheimer’s Disease."
