The City of Chesapeake has announced a new location for the recycling drop-off site at Chesapeake City Park, set to be effective starting March 27, 2024. The relocation will see the site move from its current location near Fun Forest to a new spot on Hollowell Lane, adjacent to the SPSA Transfer Station behind the Public Works Environmental Quality building.
According to the City of Chesapeake, signage will be placed in Chesapeake City Park to guide residents to the new recycling drop-off site. Additionally, residents will have multiple access points to reach the new location, either from within Chesapeake City Park or via Hollowell Lane from Executive Boulevard.
