Congresswoman Jen Kiggans, representing Virginia's 2nd district, has recently shared insights on various national security topics through her social media platform. The posts cover discussions at a national security conference, opinions on the future of naval aviation on the East Coast, and a meeting with a high-ranking military official.

On April 7, 2025, Congresswoman Kiggans posted, "This past weekend, I had the opportunity to speak on the bipartisan Harvard & MIT National Security Conference Congressional Panel! We discussed issues related to military readiness, defense technology integration, and challenges to product procurement and acquisition. We also."

The following day, on April 8, 2025, she expressed her views on naval aviation by publishing, "F-35s are the future of naval aviation. To meet the demands of great power competition and ensure strategic flexibility, the Navy must establish a permanent F-35 presence on the East Coast. There's no clearer choice than NAS Oceana. Later, on the same day, Congresswoman Kiggans mentioned a discussion with a noted military figure. Her tweet read, "Always an honor to have my good friend, Admiral Sam Paparo, in DC! Thank you for the important discussion on deterring China, strengthening our Indo-Pacific posture, and ensuring our Armed Forces are set up for success. @INDOPACOM is in good hands under your leadership…!"
