Congresswoman Jen Kiggans has been actively sharing updates on her official responsibilities and engagements through social media. Representing Virginia’s 2nd District since 2023, Kiggans continues to engage with her constituents and the wider community on vital issues and personal reflections.

On April 13th, 2025, Congresswoman Kiggans took to social media as the Christian Holy Week commenced, reflecting on the importance of faith and sacrifice. She expressed her feelings by wishing everyone a blessed Palm Sunday in her message "As we begin Holy Week, I am reminded of the power of faith and sacrifice. Wishing everyone a blessed Palm Sunday!".

The following day, on April 14th, 2025, Kiggans reported on recent activities in Washington, where she hosted notable visitors. She shared, "We had some awesome visitors this past week in Washington! I had the honor of hosting Admiral Paparo from @INDOPACOM, TurboVets, a group of Korean shipbuilders, and more. Thank you all for the important conversations about the future of our nation…!" This reflects her ongoing engagement in significant discussions about national security and future strategic planning.

Kiggans also addressed her efforts to advocate for strategic military realignments. On April 14th, 2025, she posted about her efforts to station F-35 squadrons on the East Coast, specifically at NAS Oceana. In her words, "I spoke with @WTKR3 about my push for the Navy to base F-35 squadrons on the East Coast at NAS Oceana. The infrastructure exists, the airspace is proven, and Hampton Roads is home to one of the most skilled defense workforces in the country. NAS Oceana is ready!".

Jen Kiggans’ background includes serving in the U.S. Congress since 2023, following her tenure in the Virginia Senate from 2020 to 2022. She was born in Tampa, Florida, in 1971 and resides in Virginia Beach. Kiggans holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Old Dominion University, obtained in 2011.
