Her posts highlight her engagement with local military and business communities, as well as her commitment to addressing retirement benefits for Coast Guard members.

On March 21, 2025, Kiggans discussed her meeting with the Hampton Roads Military and Federal Facilities Alliance. She emphasized the significance of Hampton Roads as home to a substantial military community, stating: "Yesterday, I had the opportunity to speak with the Hampton Roads Military and Federal Facilities Alliance. Hampton Roads is home to 80,000 military service members and their families."

Later that day, she addressed disparities in retirement benefits for Coast Guard members through new legislation. She stated: "Did you know that members of our Coast Guard don’t receive the same 20-year retirement benefits as members in every other military branch? My new bipartisan bill aims to end this disparity and give Coast Guard members the benefits they deserve!"

On March 22, 2025, Kiggans celebrated local business achievements at an annual chamber meeting. She congratulated Southampton Academy on being named business of the year: "This week, I joined the Franklin-Southampton Area Chamber of Commerce for their 71st Annual Meeting!
