Summer's not over yet, which means many drivers are cruising with their windows down. When those same drivers toss their trash from their window, it ends up polluting the City’s right-of-way, ditches and storm drains, forests, and waterways.
Residents can report litter or sign up to join a litter collection volunteer group by contacting the Customer Contact Center. This is the first connection to the City for such issues. The center can be reached at 757-382-2489 from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., or residents can submit an online service request.
