In observance of the upcoming Labor Day holiday, all City offices, courts, community centers, and Chesapeake Animal Services will be closed on Monday, September 2. The Visitor Center will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. All Chesapeake Public Library locations will be closed on Sunday, September 1, and Monday, September 2. Normal operating schedules will resume on Tuesday, September 3. There will be no changes to trash collection.
