The City of Chesapeake is currently in the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan, a crucial document that outlines the city's future direction. This undertaking requires significant community input, and residents are encouraged to participate in one of the forthcoming open houses.
These open houses provide an engaging platform for residents to voice their opinions and contribute to this essential process. More information about this project, as well as feedback from previous open houses and surveys, can be found on the Chesapeake 2045 webpage.
The schedule for the upcoming open houses is as follows:
- Jolliff Middle School: May 29 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
- Great Bridge Town Hall at Great Bridge Intermediate: June 4 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
- Chesapeake Conference Center: June 10 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
- Fire Station #7: June 13 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
- Chesapeake Lifestyle Center: June 17 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
