NORFOLK, VA – A collection of captivating artwork representing datasets from the City of Norfolk’s Open Data Portal will be on display Sept. 7 – 29 at Slover Library. The exhibition, “The Art of Data,” is presented by the City’s CivicLab, which offers programs, tools and training to help residents understand and harness data to improve our community.
The exhibition is a celebration of art and data, providing attendees with an opportunity to engage with the artists and gain firsthand insights into the creative process behind each masterpiece.
"The Art of Data" exhibition serves as a testament to the power of collaboration, bringing together artists, government agencies, and community organizations to unlock the potential of data-driven storytelling. CivicLab continues to look for opportunities to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the valuable information that lies within Norfolk's Open Data Portal.
