Congresswoman Jen Kiggans, representing Virginia’s 2nd district, recently shared her thoughts and activities through a series of tweets. Kiggans, who succeeded Elaine Luria in Congress in 2023, has been actively engaging with her constituents and addressing national security issues.

On March 16, 2025, Kiggans issued a firm statement directed at Iran via Twitter. She stated: "A strong message to Iran: attacks on the United States and our allies will not be tolerated. Our new leadership and our warfighters are restoring peace through STRENGTH!"

Later that day, she participated in a community event honoring fallen officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department. In her tweet posted on March 16, 2025, she expressed gratitude for joining local groups to commemorate the officers’ service: "I was honored to join the Patriot Guard Riders and the Virginia Beach community in signing this flag yesterday to honor fallen @VBPD officers Cameron Girvin and Christopher Reese. This special flag honoring their service and sacrifice will be presented to their families "

In another post on March 16, 2025, Kiggans showed support for the Navy with a brief message: "GO NAVY!"
