Norfolk's Department of General Services is organizing a career fair to fill various positions across its divisions. The event will take place on Friday, November 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lamberts Point Community Center located at 1251 W. 42nd St.
The department is seeking professionals for full-time roles in areas such as maintenance, customer service, plumbing, electrical work, automotive technology, and animal care. Benefits offered include paid holidays, health insurance, retirement plans, professional development opportunities, and training. Additionally, new eligible full-time hires will receive a $5,000 signing bonus.
