On September 18, 2024, a white Ford truck with a custom trailer and lift gate was involved in a larceny at a business located in the 1900 block of Diamond Hill Road. At approximately 1:54 AM, three unknown suspects exited the vehicle and began stealing large truck tires from the premises. A similar incident occurred at the same location days earlier, involving a silver SUV.

The combined loss from both thefts is estimated to be around $31,000.

Authorities are seeking information regarding these unsolved cases. Tips that help solve the case or identify suspects can be provided anonymously. Information about any crime, wanted persons, or stolen property can be reported via telephone, online form, or mobile app. Anonymity is assured as phone numbers or computer addresses will not be disclosed. If a tip leads to an arrest or recovery of drugs or stolen property, the caller may receive a cash reward of up to $1,500.

Tips can be submitted by calling Chesapeake CrimeLine at 1-888-562-5887 (LOCK-U-UP) and selecting option 4 for Chesapeake. Alternatively, tips can be submitted online through the Chesapeake Crime Line Form or via the "P3TIPS" mobile app available on most smartphones.
