NORFOLK, Va. – The City of Norfolk’s curbside recycling contract with Tidewater Fibre Corporation (TFC Recycling) ends in July 2024. City leadership wants to hear from residents about how they recycle and how they envision the future of a city-wide curbside recycling program.

A survey launches on Jan. 8 for residents to provide feedback. It will remain open until Feb. 9. Feedback from this survey will help inform a policy decision and assist the city manager in determining the funding allocation for recycling in the proposed FY 25 budget.

The brief recycling survey is available at www.norfolk.gov/RecyclingSurvey and can be completed anonymously if desired.

To request a hard copy of this survey, call (757) 441-1347 or email knb@norfolk.gov. For more information on curbside recycling service, collection and the right way to recycle, visit www.norfolk.gov/Recycling.
