Police seek public's help in identifying larceny suspect in Chesapeake

On October 4, 2024, a suspect described as a white male with dark long hair, standing approximately between 6'0" and 6'2", and having a thin build, was involved in the theft of various tools from a business located in the 1200 block of Executive Blvd. The individual reportedly returned to the scene on October 6, 2024. The vehicle used by the suspect was a white truck without a visible tag.

Authorities are seeking information that could help solve this case or identify the suspect. They emphasize that those providing tips can remain anonymous. Information about any crime, the whereabouts of wanted individuals, or stolen property can be reported through several methods.

Tips can be submitted via telephone to Chesapeake CrimeLine at 1-888-562-5887 (LOCK-U-UP), using option 4 for Chesapeake when prompted. Alternatively, tips can be submitted online through the Chesapeake Crime Line Form or via the mobile app "P3TIPS," which is available for most smartphones.

The City of Chesapeake has stated that if a tip leads to an arrest, recovery of drugs, or stolen property, the caller may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1500. The anonymity of callers is assured; their phone numbers or computer addresses will not be displayed or identified.
