Deck the Hall

Experience the joy of Christmas lights from the comfort of your own car! Deck the Hall is a nightly drive-through holiday light display that will be open through January 1 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Chesapeake City Hall. It is sure to get you into the holiday spirit.

Fa La La Land

Deck the Hall amps up the festivities two nights this December! Join Parks, Recreation and Tourism as they host Fa La La Land at Chesapeake City Hall on Saturday, December 9 and Saturday, December 16. Fa La La Land is an interactive winter wonderland filled with food trucks, baby goats in holiday sweaters, face painting, carolers, a visit from Santa, and more!

Fa La La Land’s December 9 Tree Lighting Ceremony

Things are about to get even more festive! Join us for the Tree Lighting Ceremony during Fa La La Land at Deck the Hall on Saturday, December 9, at 5:30 p.m. with Mayor West and the The Doorway Singers! Can't make it in person? Watch it on Parks, Recreation and Tourism’s Facebook Live!

Attend the Holiday Brass Concert by the Virginia Symphony Orchestra

Come see the Virginia Symphony Orchestra at the Chesapeake Convention Center on Thursday, December 14! The bold sounds of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra brass section will help you ring in the holidays in a bright new way. With a variety of styles from classical to contemporary, you'll delight in the sounds of the season. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the concert starts at 7:00 p.m.
