The Norfolk Department of Public Health has announced the initiation of its weekly COVID and flu vaccination clinics. These clinics will be held every Thursday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. until February 27, 2025, with the exception of the third Thursday each month.

In addition to these regular clinics, a special Walk-In Vaccination Clinic is scheduled for Saturday, November 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event will offer COVID-19, flu, and RSV vaccinations. The RSV vaccine will be available only for adults during this event, while both children and adults can receive flu and COVID-19 vaccines.

Both the Saturday clinic and the weekly Thursday clinics are located at 830 Southampton Ave. in Norfolk. No appointments are required for these clinics, which aim to make it easy for individuals of all ages to get vaccinated. Attendees should bring their ID and insurance card; however, uninsured individuals may incur a $20.33 fee to cover administration costs.

“Vaccination is one of the most effective ways to protect yourself and your loved ones against COVID-19 and the flu,” stated Susan Girois, M.D., Director of the Norfolk Department of Public Health. “We invite everyone in the community to take advantage of this convenient service and help us keep Norfolk healthy.”
