NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk Department of Public Health (NDPH) is dedicated to promoting the overall health and well-being of the residents of Norfolk and their families. This commitment goes beyond simply providing healthcare services to individuals. NDPH believes that to truly make a difference, the department must also focus on building trust and actively listening to the needs and concerns of the community.

That is why NDPH conducts a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) every three to five years to collect data and evaluate the specific needs of its residents. This assessment helps guide investments, community benefit programs, and strategic planning, all with the goal of improving health and quality of life.

Norfolk residents are asked to complete the CHNA at https://redcap.link/80u7u08z.

Resident input is crucial in shaping NDPH's outreach, prevention, education, and wellness initiatives.
