The Princess Anne County Training School/Union Kempsville High School Alumni and Friends Association, in partnership with the Virginia Beach Cultural Affairs Department, proudly present the 2023 Veterans Day commemoration, “A Veteran’s Story,” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Princess Anne County Training School/Union Kempsville High School Museum (PACTS/UKHS), 5100 Cleveland St., in honor of those who have served in the United States military.

Guests can tour the PACTS/UKHS Museum, meet school alumni, and connect with local military veterans during this free special event. This year’s program is headlined by a distinguished keynote speaker, U.S. Air Force Major (Ret.) Earl Johnson, who is now director of the American Independence Youth Leadership Conference, a panel of distinguished veterans sharing their narratives and opening audience discussion.

Additional special guests, refreshments, and opportunities for veterans to connect with their fellow veterans and learn about available veteran services will be available. Music will be provided by Symphonicity's traveling ensemble.

Event is free and open to the public, and registration is now open online. If you have any questions about this event, or other Virginia Beach History Museums events and tours, please call 757-385-5100 or email vbhistory@vbgov.com
