City of Norfolk issued the following announcement on Dec. 6
The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) was passed by Congress in March 2021 to aid in the economic recovery and emergency response to COVID-19.
We want to hear your priorities for how the funds should be invested in our community. Tell us your priorities using this new survey, our prioritize tool, or by emailing the city at ARPACommunication@norfolk.gov.
Feedback from the resources above and public meetings can be viewed here: Public Engagement Dashboard
Additional public input meetings will be held where you can provide input to city staff to assist with putting together a community-based City Manager's recommendation for City Council's consideration on ARPA funding. Dates for the upcoming public input meetings will be posted on this webpage and communicated via social media as they become available.
City Council will hold a public hearing once they have received the community-based City Manager's Proposed Plan.
