Sentara College of Health Sciences enrolls 372 undergrads

At Sentara College of Health Sciences, 80 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 91 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Chesapeake enrolled 386 students in fall 2018, including 372 in undergraduate and 14 in graduate programs, data shows. 12.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (69 percent) and Asian (8 percent).
