On Monday, March 24, former Lake Taylor High School standout JJ Quinerly’s current collegiate team the West Virginia Mountaineers lost 58-47 against the North Carolina Tar Heels in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Carmichael Arena, this was the first game against the North Carolina Tar Heels during the championship.

JJ Quinerly’s hometown is Norfolk and game position is guard.
