On Friday, March 21, former Smithfield High School standout Kyla Abraham’s current collegiate team the Baylor Lady Bears won 73-60 against the Grand Canyon Antelopes in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Foster Pavilion, this was the first game against the Grand Canyon Antelopes during the championship.

The Baylor Lady Bears’ next game will take place on Sunday, March 23 at 3 p.m. in Foster Pavilion against Ole Miss Rebels.

Kyla Abraham’s hometown is Carrollton and game position is forward.
