Congresswoman Jen Kiggans, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Virginia’s 2nd district since 2023, shared several updates on social media regarding recent events and her activities in Washington D.C.
On March 5, 2025, she congratulated a new honorary U.S. Secret Service Agent by stating: "Congratulations to the newest honorary U.S. @SecretService Agent, D.J. Daniel! Keep making America proud!! "
Later that day, she reflected on political changes and her role during a presidential speech: "The American people sent a clear message in November – putting an end to failed Democrat policies and returning common sense to Washington. I’m honored to have been able to represent #VA02 during @POTUS’ speech tonight and look forward to continuing to deliver on our promises."
In another update from March 5th, Kiggans humorously noted her seating arrangement at a joint address: "Just got back from the House Floor, but I might’ve been in the wrong section! Loved getting to sit with @SenatorCollins and @SenKatieBritt at tonight’s joint address!"
