Congresswoman Jen Kiggans, representing Virginia’s 2nd district since 2023, has recently expressed her positions on various issues through a series of tweets. Known for her support of veterans and the defense industry, Kiggans has been active in addressing both local and national concerns.

On March 3, 2025, Kiggans emphasized her support for federal government reform while defending veterans and the defense industry. She stated: "I support much-needed federal government reform, but I am also a staunch defender of the veterans and defense industry in our district." She also mentioned sending a letter to the Secretary of Defense highlighting the need to prevent workforce reductions within the Department of Defense from causing undue harm.

The following day, March 4, 2025, she thanked President Biden for his stance against anti-Semitism on college campuses. In her tweet, she remarked: "Thank you @POTUS for making it clear that under Republican leadership, anti-semitism on college campuses will no longer be tolerated." She stressed that such hate has no place in America and called for universities to be held accountable.

Later on March 4th, Kiggans expressed gratitude towards Majority Leader Steve Scalise and Representative Julia Letlow for providing King Cakes during a busy week. Her tweet read: "Thank you to Majority Leader @SteveScalise and @RepJuliaLetlow for the King Cakes to help get us through a BUSY week!" This was shared as part of Mardi Gras celebrations.
