Congresswoman Jen Kiggans, representing Virginia's 2nd district, has recently shared updates on social media regarding current weather conditions and her legislative efforts. The congresswoman is known for her active engagement with constituents and focus on issues impacting her district.

On February 11, 2025, Kiggans alerted residents about severe weather conditions affecting the region. She stated that "Much of the Commonwealth is currently under a Winter Storm Warning, including portions of #VA02...! This storm has the potential to bring hazardous conditions, like icy roads, to places across Hampton Roads." She advised citizens to remain safe and adhere to local guidance during this period.

Later that day, Kiggans highlighted her role in supporting military families. She tweeted at 21:51 UTC that "When our men and women in uniform serve our country, their families serve too!" As co-chair of the Military Family Caucus alongside Representative Sanford Bishop, she expressed pride in ensuring military families receive proper care and improvements in their quality of life.
