All City offices, courts, community centers, Chesapeake Public Library locations, and Chesapeake Animal Services will not be operational on Monday, February 17. This closure is in observance of George Washington Day. However, the Chesapeake Visitor Center will remain open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be no adjustments to the trash collection schedules during this period. Regular operations are set to resume on Tuesday, February 18.
