Congresswoman Jen Kiggans, representing Virginia’s 2nd district, shared a series of tweets reflecting on various topics. Kiggans, who has been serving in Congress since 2023 after replacing Elaine Luria, addressed community service, border security, and healthcare.

On February 7th, 2025, Kiggans expressed her condolences for the passing of Pastor McCarty. She acknowledged his contributions to the Isle of Wight community both as a pastor and as a member of the Board of Supervisors. "Pastor McCarty was a tireless servant to the Isle of Wight community as both a pastor and a member of the Board of Supervisors... I was deeply saddened to hear of his recent passing."

Later that day, she commented on improvements at the southern border. She noted that illegal crossings have decreased while security has increased, attributing these changes to Republican efforts. "It's amazing to see the improvements happening at our southern border. Illegal crossings are down and security is up!"

On February 8th, 2025, Kiggans highlighted the importance of community health centers like Eastern Shore Rural Health System in providing primary care nationwide. She mentioned her participation in addressing the NACHC Policy & Issues Forum and visiting local centers. "Community health centers, like the Eastern Shore Rural Health System, make up the largest primary care network in the nation - providing healthcare to millions of Americans...!"
