Chesapeake announces closures for Martin Luther King Jr. holiday

All City of Chesapeake offices, courts, community centers, Chesapeake Animal Services, and Chesapeake Public Library locations will be closed on Monday, January 20 in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The Chesapeake Visitor Center will remain open from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. There will be no changes to trash collection schedules during this period. Normal operating schedules for all services will resume on Tuesday, January 21.
