Hampton Roads Transit seeks public input on high-capacity transit alignments

Hampton Roads Transit’s ongoing study of high-capacity transit has advanced into Tier 2 alignment alternatives. The study team has narrowed the alternatives to four potential alignments and is seeking public input. Residents are encouraged to join one of the pop-up events or visit the project website to provide their feedback.

The scheduled events are as follows:

- Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Weekly Wednesday Farmers Market at Chesapeake Health Department, located at 748 Battlefield Blvd., behind Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.

- Thursday, Aug. 15, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Robert Hall Transfer Center, situated at Robert Hall & Military Highway.

- Saturday, Aug. 24, from 8:00 a.m. to noon, at the Farmers Market at Chesapeake City Park, located at 900 City Park Drive.
