Virginia Beach Fire Department Seeks Publics Help Regarding Fireworks Display at Rudee Inlet on July 3rd

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA  - The Virginia Beach Fire Prevention Bureau sseeking information regarding a large illegal fireworks display that took place on July 3, 2023, at approximately 10:30 p.m. in Rudee Inlet. These fireworks caused excessive damage to multiple boats that were docked in the harbor. The fireworks display was not sanctioned or granted a permit by the City of Virginia Beach nor the Virginia Beach Fire Prevention Bureau.
