In support of the festivities for the Norfolk Harborfest, Hampton Roads Transit will be running enhanced service for the Elizabeth River Ferry and The Tide light rail.
In support of the festivities for the Norfolk Harborfest, Hampton Roads Transit will be running enhanced service for the Elizabeth River Ferry and The Tide light rail.The Tide will be running extended and more frequent service on Saturday evening, June 10. The Elizabeth River Ferry will be running extended and more frequent service on Saturday, June 10, and Sunday, June 11.
Starting at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 8, and ending around 11:00 PM on Sunday, June 11, 2023, the Routes 6, 45, 960, and 961 will detour due to the event. These routes will not service the MacArthur Light Rail Station or Waterside. Customers should board/alight at the Route 8 bus stop 6094 BANK & PLUME located in front of the Fountain Park Garage or at stop 0006 SAINT PAULS & PLUME at Civic Plaza.

Bus stops at Waterside and the MacArthur Light Rail Station will not be serviced. Passengers must board/alight using the bus stops at Civic Plaza or Bank St./Plume St.
