South University-Virginia Beach enrolls 369 undergrads

At South University-Virginia Beach, 81 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 82 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Virginia Beach enrolled 477 students in fall 2018, including 369 in undergraduate and 108 in graduate programs, data shows. 21.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Virginia.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (48 percent) and white (33 percent).
