Residents of Chesapeake to Receive Tax Bills Due June 5

Residents of Chesapeake, Virginia, are reminded to keep an eye on their mailboxes as the Treasurer’s Office prepares to send out Personal Property Tax and combined Real Estate Tax / Stormwater Fee bills. The bills, both due on Wednesday, June 5, offer various payment options including by phone, by mail, in person, or online.

According to the official announcement, the City of Chesapeake Treasurer’s Office will be distributing the tax bills over the next several days. Residents are urged to visit the Treasurer's official webpages and YouTube channel for more information on how to settle their dues.

In a statement, the Treasurer's Office provided details on the payment methods and contact information for inquiries: "You can pay by phone, by mail, in person, or online." The office can be reached at 757-382-2489, and its physical address is 306 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322.

With the due date for the tax bills fast approaching, residents are advised to stay informed and prepared to meet their obligations by June 5.
