There were six Asian students enrolled in Franklin City Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Franklin City Public Schools District welcomed 1,015 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 0.6% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the school.

Franklin City Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Franklin City and has a main office in Franklin.

Among the three schools in Franklin City Public Schools District, S. P. Morton Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
