All City offices, courts, and Chesapeake Public Library branches will be closed on Monday, October 9, in observance of Columbus Day and Yorktown Victory Day. All community centers will be open from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m.
The Chesapeake Visitor Center will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The Voter Registrar's Office will be closed on October 9, and early voting will not be available.
Normal operating schedules will resume on Tuesday, October 10, as will early voting at the Voter Registrar’s Office.
