The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Norfolk conferred 750 bachelor's degrees and 129 master's degrees in health professions and related programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general psychology. Data shows the school gave out 291 bachelor's degrees in general psychology, followed by 271 bachelor's degrees in criminology and 244 bachelor's degrees in "other" mental and social health services and allied professions.
The university enrolled 24,176 students for 2017-18, including 19,372 in undergraduate programs and 4,804 in graduate programs.
