Graduates earn 103 degrees, certificates from Centura College-Virginia Beach

About 60.2 percent of the 103 degrees and certificates handed out by Centura College-Virginia Beach in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Beach conferred 47 associate's degrees and 15 certificates in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in medical office assistant/specialist. Data shows the school gave out 38 associate's degrees in medical office assistant/specialist, followed by 16 bachelor's degrees in office management and supervision and 14 associate's degrees in system, networking, and lan/wan management/manager.

The college enrolled 102 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
