Graduates earn 329 degrees, certificates from the Advanced Technology Institute

About 46.5 percent of the 329 degrees and certificates handed out by the Advanced Technology Institute in 2017-18 were to students in mechanic and repair technologies/technicians programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Beach conferred 129 certificates and 24 associate's degrees in mechanic and repair technologies/technicians programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in truck and bus driver/commercial vehicle operator and instructor. Data shows the school gave out 128 certificates in truck and bus driver/commercial vehicle operator and instructor, followed by 49 certificates in automobile/automotive mechanics technology/technician and 41 certificates in heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration maintenance technology/technician.

The institute enrolled 609 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
