Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Tidewater Tech-Trades

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Tidewater Tech-Trades, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Virginia students paid $15,401 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 70 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 23 students received grants or scholarships totaling $126,278 and 39 students took out student loans totaling more than $382,581.

Including all undergraduates (371), 225 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1 million, and 246 students took out $1.6 million in federal student loans.
