Virginia Beach seeks resident input on FY2026-2027 performance contract

The Virginia Beach Department of Human Services, in collaboration with the Virginia Beach Community Services Board, is inviting residents to provide feedback on the draft FY2026-2027 State Performance Contract. This contract outlines state funding for public mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance use services.

A 30-day public comment period has been established for this purpose. During this time, residents can review the draft performance contract online or obtain hard copies at four City of Virginia Beach locations during regular business hours.

Comments are to be submitted via email to PCpubliccomment@vbgov.com by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22. For further inquiries regarding the submission process, individuals may contact 757-385-0602.
