Nauticus, MacArthur Memorial, and Norfolk Animal Care Center in Norfolk will resume their usual Saturday operations on February 22. The Norfolk Botanical Garden plans to open later than normal at 11 a.m. SevenVenues has confirmed that its events scheduled for this weekend will proceed as planned.
Several other facilities are set to reopen on Saturday during their regular hours. These include Mary D. Pretlow Anchor Branch Library, Jordan-Newby Anchor Branch Library, Richard A. Tucker Anchor Branch Library, The Slover, Berkley Community Center, East Ocean View Community Center, Huntersville Community Center, Lambert’s Point Community Center, Norfolk Wellness & Fitness Center, Norview Community Center, Park Place Multi-Services Center, and Titustown Community Center.
League basketball games have been rescheduled and will not occur on February 22. For inquiries regarding league basketball games, the Athletics Division can be reached at (757) 823-4304.
The Virginia Zoo is expected to remain closed until Monday, February 24.
Waste Management services will collect Thursday's routes on Saturday and Friday's routes on Monday due to adjustments in the schedule caused by the storm. Bulk and yard waste collections were canceled for the week but are anticipated to resume next week.
In downtown Norfolk along Boush St., Granby St., Main St., and Waterside Dr., street parking is temporarily unavailable until 1 p.m. on Saturday to facilitate plowing activities. However, the York Street Garage and Brambleton Lot are available for parking until 9 a.m. on Saturday for residents who need downtown parking options.

Public Safety crews will collaborate with Norfolk Community Services Board and partners to provide necessary shelter accommodations.
