All City of Chesapeake offices, courts, community centers, and libraries will be closed on Monday, February 19, in observance of the Presidents Day holiday, according to an announcement by the City of Chesapeake. The Chesapeake Visitor Center, however, will remain open from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
"There will be no changes to trash collection schedules," stated the City of Chesapeake.
Normal operating schedules will resume on Tuesday, February 20.
For more information, individuals are encouraged to contact the Customer Contact Center at 757-382-2489 on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Alternatively, they can visit the official website of the City of Chesapeake at www.CityOfChesapeake.net/CCC.
