Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters recently issued the following announcement.
The Virginia Mental Health Access (VMAP) Progam's psychiatry/psychology consult line is celebrating its second anniversary. Since opening two years ago, VMAP has registered 545 PCPs for the consult line, providing 1,257 consults.
VMAP has launched three regional hubs in the northern, eastern, and southwest regions of the state and is continuing to expand.
Educational Opportunities:
Registration is open for three VMAP REACH PPP trainings this fall. This patient-centered mental health in pediatric primary care (PPP) mini fellowship increases confidence in assessing, diagnosing, and treating pediatric mental health concerns.
Virtual trainings will occur on the following dates:
- September 17-19
- October 1-3
- November 5-7
