Old Dominion baseball hosts James Madison this week for its final regular season series as both teams aim to improve their positions before postseason play begins. Special events such as Senior Day and Mother’s Day recognition are planned during home games.

The Norfolk Animal Care Center has announced it needs temporary dog fosters while new kennels are installed between mid-May and early June. Community members can participate in special events or visit individually to help house shelter dogs during this upgrade period.
