Old Dominion University will face East Carolina University in a women’s lacrosse game scheduled for April 11 at Johnson Stadium in Greenville, North Carolina. The match is set to begin at noon and will be streamed on ESPN+.
The game is an American Conference matchup, with ECU leading the all-time series between the teams five games to two. In their last meeting on April 5, 2025, Old Dominion lost to ECU by a score of 12-10.
Old Dominion enters the contest after a recent loss to Temple, where they were defeated 17-7. Julia Butler scored three goals for Old Dominion in that game, while Kylie O’Donnell added two goals and Annalynn Pompetti and Ella Bowen each contributed one goal. Goalkeeper Brynn Bowen recorded eight saves during the match and has now accumulated 123 saves this season, surpassing her total from last year. Bowen currently ranks seventh nationally and first in the conference for saves per game.
Natalie Calandra-Ryan leads Old Dominion with 29 points this season from 21 goals and eight assists. Lydia Laney follows with seven goals and fifteen assists for a total of twenty-two points, ranking ninth in the conference for assists. Molly Heimerl has contributed nine goals and eleven assists for twenty points.
East Carolina comes into Saturday’s game following a win over William & Mary by a score of sixteen to nine. Rachel Chessock led ECU with five goals during that match; Sarah Goodison, Jamie Collender, and Maya Koebke each scored three times as well. Maeve Meehan made seven saves as goalkeeper while Jaime Behar recorded four saves.
Goodison leads ECU with thirty-six points from twenty-four goals and twelve assists; she ranks ninth in the conference both in goals per game and points per game. Maya Koebke has twelve goals and seventeen assists (twenty-nine points), while Kayla Wilkes also has twenty-nine points from twenty-one goals and eight assists.
Looking ahead, Old Dominion is scheduled to travel next week to New Jersey to play Monmouth at Kessler Stadium on April 18.
