Old Dominion University’s men’s basketball team will begin its Sun Belt Conference Championship campaign as the No. 11 seed, facing off against the No. 14 seed University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) Warhawks in the opening round. The matchup is set for Tuesday, March 3 at the Pensacola Bay Center, with tipoff scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET.

Earlier this season, Old Dominion (11-20 overall, 7-11 in conference play) hosted ULM (4-27 overall, 1-17 in conference play) on February 4. ULM won that game 85-79, marking only the third meeting between the two programs and giving ULM a 2-1 advantage in their all-time series. In that contest, Jordan Battle led Old Dominion with 23 points and made six three-pointers out of fourteen attempts. Teammates KC Shaw scored 16 points, Zacch Wiggins added 13 points, and LJ Thomas contributed 12 points.

The Sun Belt Championship Final is set for Monday, March 9 at 7 p.m. ET and will be available to stream on ESPN or ESPN2. The winner of the tournament secures an automatic spot in this year’s NCAA Tournament. More information about the Sun Belt Championship can be found on the conference tournament website.
