Norfolk’s Community Connect returns Oct. 11 with over 50 departments and vendors

The City of Norfolk will host the fifth annual Community Connect event on October 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at MacArthur Center Green. The event is open to the public and free of charge.

Community Connect will bring together more than 50 city departments and community vendors. The event will focus on services for youth and seniors, community engagement, healthy living, music and arts, financial assistance, among other topics.

City officials say that Community Connect is designed to help residents learn about available resources in Norfolk while also providing opportunities for involvement in local programs.
