On September 24, the district acknowledged efforts to improve student attendance at Sherwood Forest Elementary School. In a post, Norfolk Public Schools wrote: ” At Sherwood Forest ES, showing up matters! Student Data Specialist Ms. Spain is keeping attendance front + center. Later that day, the district announced the launch of a new Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) incentive program at Madison Alternative Center.
