Congresswoman Jen Kiggans, who represents Virginia’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on her recent activities and reflections through a series of posts on April 1, 2026.

In her first post at 20:22 UTC, Kiggans highlighted a visit to Easterseals’ new Culinary Connections kitchen. She wrote, “Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit the new Culinary Connections kitchen at Easterseals to meet the dedicated staff who are helping participants of all ages and abilities master life skills through culinary classes and culinary therapy. At 23:42 UTC, she reflected on meeting members of NASA’s Artemis II crew earlier in Washington D.C., expressing gratitude for their efforts. She posted, “Steve and I had the privilege of meeting the Artemis II crew in DC in February….! Kiggans has served as Virginia’s 2nd District representative since 2023 after replacing Elaine Luria. Prior to her tenure in Congress, she was a member of the Virginia Senate from 2020 to 2022. Born in Tampa, Florida in 1971, Kiggans resides in Virginia Beach and holds a BSN from Old Dominion University.
